Week One

Well, the first day of work in the streets is done - and a long day it was too, starting in the stores at 9.00 and finishing at 8.30 at night. The job was to test all the set-piece wall anchorages, and replace or repair as needed. Rather more repairs were needed than usual, but they are all done now.

A second crew tested the set pieces, and moved all those needing repairs to the workshop. Sadly, all but a couple need some work, so now we start the time-consuming replacement of defective ropelight, and a couple of controller repairs. But we are on the way - and next weekend the coloured lamps will start to appear!
