Who we are

We are a team entirely made of volunteers who build and erect the Christmas lights in Bromyard, Herefordshire every year. The group has been in operation for nearly sixty years and its members are from all walks of life who bring a wide range of skills and experience. Every new addition to the display is built by hand, by ourselves, in Bromyard.  

Our current members are a mix of people who are new to us, to those who are second and even third generation Christmas lighters, and some who have been involved since the 1960’s. We all share the same passion of making Bromyard shine. 

We operate as a non-profit making Company, “Limited by Guarantee”, known as the “Bromyard Christmas Lights Association Ltd”. All our time, resource, machinery and equipment is donated by the team free of charge. This allows us to use the generous donations from local people, visitors and the businesses of Bromyard, alongside the invaluable funding from the local council, to create the very best display we can each year. We always striving to make it just a little bit better every year!
