Nearly at the end of the 2022 season!

Well, here we are out again, this time Kevin reprogramming the clock to play Auld Lang Syne for the new year!  It will revert to carols from Monday until the lights finally go off on Epiphany, 6th January.  If you want to see them, there’s less than a week left!

The next big job is, of course, taking the lights down, which we plan to do on Sunday, 8th January.  Hopefully, if all goes really well, we will get them all down in a day - although it is a major effort to achieve that.

The lights have been wonderfully reliable this year, with only two visits with a cherry picker.  The first time was shortly after switch-on, when all the niggles were sorted; the second time was when Envelopes strangely went dim, but that was just a simple poor connection in a plug and socket. Otherwise, we have been very fortunate.  We just hope that all stays well until the end!
